Cait is a licensed cosmetologist who has been practicing since 2007, bringing nearly two decades of experience to her work.
Her approach is rooted in both hands-on expertise and a strong understanding of hair and scalp health, including color chemistry and product ingredients. She continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing education in scalp care, relaxation techniques, and holistic practices, with additional head spa certification training through Surface Hair.
Cait is passionate about continuous learning and creating experiences that feel thoughtful, intentional, and deeply restorative.
When not at the head spa, Cait is a mom to two older kids (and a cat), can be found exploring and enjoying nature, reading a good book, drinking a cup of tea and pondering the great mystery of life.

At Halo, it’s more than a treatment – it’s a mindful pause in your week, a reminder to return to yourself, to your care.
The head spa room is designed to feel like a soft escape – gentle light, natural textures, and the quiet rhythm of calm. Each detail invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect.
And at Halo, every experience is guided by the belief that true wellness begins at the root – where scalp health, inner calm, and natural radiance meet. Every product, every movement, every scent is guided by intention.

Halo has a holistic view of scalp and hair health, nurturing the body’s natural systems rather than masking concerns. Each visit is more than a treatment – it’s a sensory journey. Warm steam, scalp massage, scalp-tingling tools, and soothing products come together to cleanse, nourish, and awaken the scalp

Honestly… it started way before I ever touched a basin.
I was that kid who loved playing with my friends’ hair: braiding, brushing, those feel-good, hair-play games like “crack an egg” and letting it “drip” down your back.
makes motion of a cracked egg flowing from the top of the head to the end of the spine with gliding fingers
It was always about comfort, connection, and that exhale.
Fast forward to around 2018, as a practicing Cosmetologist I began casually, incorporating dry hair brushing into my salon services after discovering ASMR hair-brushing videos on YouTube, and looking for new inspiration in my work.
I saw how deeply relaxing it was for people, and something clicked.
Then 2020 hit. Covid shut my salon down, and like many of us, I took a few different paths for a while.
(I learned Canva, I learned how to build memberships with Stu McLaren, I learned web creation, I grew an end of life education practice ( + was humbled to be featured in Business Insider for it) and I actively cared for people in that space and so much more!)
When I later became the salon coordinator at The Noble Root in an attempt to repair some burnout, my friend and the salon owner Aaron casually said, “What about a head spa here?”
I lit up instantly. He saw that spark, believed in it, and within the year had ordered the basin and built out the upstairs space.
What started as an idea became something much bigger.
Over time, it grew into my personal creation and today, as an independent contractor, I’m the owner of Halo Headspa, operating within The Noble Root salon, since October 2025.
It’s been a journey of evolution, trust, and returning to what I’ve always loved: helping people feel deeply relaxed, cared for, and restored.
And restoring and caring for myself along the way. I feel so fortunate to have arrived at this incarnation of my career.
